George Washington's Chair

This afternoon, Aimee and I had a history lesson. The best history lesson I've ever had. Aimee is going to blog about our tour more later, but I just wanted to show you this picture. This room was where the Constitution of the United States was signed. The tall chair is THE CHAIR that George Washington sat in. To me, that is just amazing...to think that George Washington sat in that very chair almost two and a half centuries ago. They even had the original walking stick that Thomas Jefferson used in his later years. I really enjoyed the tour, learning about the signing of our Constitution. Stay tuned for more on the tour, as Aimee will share more details.
